1. The Start of "HULL" in Thailand and its meaning: "HULL" is an old English word, meaning body of ship/boat. I named the company "HULL" because the company is like a ship and the staffs are like the "Crews" for company's operations with good teamwork towards the right direction. Boat can never be run only by captain. All crews onboard share hard time, happiness and benefit together.

2. Why do you choose Thailand and Pattaya, in particular, for business?

Pattaya is the main location for pleasure boat building in Thailand. Engine/Equipment suppliers are supportive to this industry. This is the best place to have our head office, where it is good for HULL as being close to the market. Actually, I do not like Bangkok, for me it is far too congested. HULL Co., Ltd. also has sales reps in Phuket and several dealers in most of important locations for boating in Thailand.

3. What does HULL have to offer to its customers? In general, we strive to be a marine expert, particularly the engineering in building good boats. Not only we supply marine engines/equipment, but also technical information/knowhow/assistance for all levels from planning to actual production/spare-parts and after sale service for all products from HULL, backed up by my boat building experience. Our scope also includes those of Yanmar Marine engines, Suzuki Outboard motors, Teleflex and Sika marine products.

4. How many products does HULL Co., Ltd. handle?

HULL Co., Ltd. has been handling four major product lines for many years. These include:

a) Sole Distributor of Yanmar Marine Engine (Pleasure and High-speed commercial engines ranging from 9 to 1,822 hp) in Thailand,

b) Authorized Premier Dealer for Suzuki Marine in Thailand under Thai Suzuki Motor Co., Ltd. ( 4-stroke outboard motors ranging from 2.5 to 325 hp),

c) Authorized Distributor in Thailand for Dometic SeaStar Solutions products (formerly Teleflex Marine), including SeaStar, BayStar, Xtreme, NFB, Capilano,“Morse” control cables, i7800 Electronic Engine Control, Optimus, EPS, Joystick systems, Jack plates, Trim tabs, and other marine equipment. Dometic SeaStar Solutions holds over 50% market share in the U.S.,

d) Authorized Distributor for Sika marine products in Thailand under Sika (Thailand) Limited.

Sikaflex is one of the most widely used sealants in the marine industry in Thailand. Sika provides high-quality products along with experienced technical support, covering everything from design consultation to actual workshop applications in both Thai and English.

5. What is your motto? Keep straight engineering mind all the time, which can never be bent by selfishness, and with concern for society by fair manner.

6. How did HULL survive economic crisis and maintain its customers?

For HULL, we focused on long term business operation and always got prepared for unforeseen situation. Never be distracted by panic and stay cool at all time. For customers, HULL dealt with customers with consideration on maximizing customers' benefits.
